#10. So You Think You Can Fight?

Ushiku is kicking Jiyu, "you runt...!"

Jiyu goes flying back,after he lands he gets to one knee, "I'm not done yet!"

He runs towards him ready to strike.

We see Takaharu kicking & swinging as Shitoku dodges and blocks the attempts.

Takaharu, "If you think this is going to be easy, you're dead wrong!"

Osata and Sanjo are also exchanging blows.

Osata, "This isn't really fair to put us together you know?"

Sanjo blocking, "yeah we are too familiar with each other."

someone claps their hands.

"stop,get in line"

Standing with a small stature and frame with a serious posture looking at Orange Class. Her name is Sensei Chosai, the offensive tactics instructor. Dressed in instructors garb, a closed jacket and pants with a short blade at the small of her back.

Ushiku, "Sensei Chosai, I wasn't done kicking his ass!"

Sensei Chosai, "Silence" 

She begins walking down the line looking and stopping at each student.

"Jiyu, rushing in will get you killed, especially the way you telegraph your attacks." 

Jiyu, "telegraph...?"

Sensei Chosai, "Ushiku, pace yourself when you fight. You're out of breath already,low stamina would make you more than worthless as a Senshi."

"Shitoku, you should take every fight serious no matter the opponent."

"Takaharu you are not good enough to brag, especially since you keep getting knocked on your ass."

Finally she is in front of Osata and Sanjo.

"you two will train against each every day, because one day you may have to fight against one of you know. Being e on opposite sides as Senshi happens."

They all say at one time "yes Sensei"

She walks back up the line, you all think you can fight, trust me you cannot"

She sees Ushiku with his fists balled tightly.

Takaharu suddenly burst out, "are you looking down on us?"

Osata, "Takaharu, calm..."

Sensei, "I am simply telling you the truth, so that you improve. I'm here to teach you."

She takes off her jacket and tosses it to the side.

"So who thinks they can fight a ranked Senshi now? Some of you are from very strong families and clans. You've been fighting since before you came here."

After everyone is quiet for a moment several step up.

Sensei Chosai, "Interesting, okay then."

They start approaching slowly.

Ushiku rolling his sleeves up, "we're making a habit of fighting our instructors."

Takaharu, "yeah I guess so."

Ushiku, "i won't go easy on her, you better not either!"

he starts running towards her.

Takaharu, "who are you telling what to do?"

He begins running towards Sensei right after Ushiku.

Jiyu facing Sensei Chosai from a distance as they charge in, "do your best guys!"

Shitoku watching on, "this place really takes itself seriously."

Osata, "maybe you should as well."

Shitoku putting his hands behind his head, "My Dad forced me to come. Figured it would motivate me to apply myself, what a hassle."

Sensei flips over the two would be attackers and shouts at the bystanders, "Pay attention you three, you might learn something!"

They all quickly obey, "Yes Sensei!"

Ushiku comes from the rear, while Takaharu approaches from the right. 

Sensei easily kicks Ushiku back while positioning to body punch then uppercut Takaharu.

They both are moved back several feet and on their backs.

Sensei Chosai, "be aware of your surrounding students." {I see you hanging back, do you hope these two wear me down or you waiting for an opening?}

Ushiku gets up angered, "You think it matters if you knock me down?!"

Chosai turns to look at Ushiku, "hmmm?"

He balls his fist up and continues, "You think this the first time I've been knocked down?! All my life I've fought bigger and meaner than you!" [he points at her when he says this.]

Osata, {so thats it.}

Sensei Chosai walking over to him, "Ushiku..."

[as she is facing him while his fist are still balled up.]

"i don't care."

she its him in the face then grabs him before he falls.

"no one you face will care about your story, grow up."

[she hits him again then spin kicks him into the air, landing near Shitoku and the rest.]

Takaharu shouting and running, "Ushiku!"

Out of the corner of her eye she notices Jiyu beginning to approach slowly.

Sensei as she readies for Takaharu, "I see your intentions a mile away Takaharu, anger will be your downfall."

[suddenly Jiyu is in her face swinging his fist at her]

she blocks.

Shitoku, {he did it again!}

Sensei Chosai {mabakata?}

[she kicks him in his stomach and he goes back a couple feet]

{what's up with this kid?}

Jiyu as he hits the ground, "Takaharu!"

Just then he comes in from the side

Takaharu, "now that he's out of the way, I got...!"

[she grabs his leg turns and slams him down with force, knocking the wind out of him]"...uh"

Shitoku, "this isn't going well, wanna call it?"

Ushiku rolling his sleeve up again, "shut up you slacker, I got this."

Sanjo, "it looks like she has got this."

Ushiku heading back towards the fight, "shut up, I'm gonna kick this her ass!

Sensei is facing Jiyu as Ushiku runs in Jiyu jumps back.

Ushiku, "out of the way runt, she is mine!"

He swings and kicks she easily evades him.

Sensei, "you’re a very angry boy, and you're all over the place"

Ushiku, "hold still!"

Sensei smiling, "No"

{what is he doing?} She notices Jiyu doing something 

Ushiku, "hey, don't ignore me!" 

He notices Jiyu as well{what the hell is that runt doing?}

[she knocks Ushiku down]

Jiyu runs quickly towards Sensei

Shitoku, "what is..."

Osata, "...he doing?"

Jiyu , "sensei you can't stop a Jiyu original!"

Sensei, "come on then!"[ give me all you got!]

He uses mabataka and comes in from a different angle.

As she prepares, he appears behind her and hesitates.

Chosai, "Disappointing"[I left myself open]

she slaps Jiyu with her left hand then kicks him with her right, knocking him down completely. 

Ushiku and Takaharu are also taken out directly after that when they approach.

She turns to the other Gakusei, "what did they do wrong?"

Osata , "Sensei, they had poor communication during the fight..."

Sanjo, "They fought as individuals, Ushiku and Takaharu shunned Jiyu but didn't really coordinate with each other either."

Sensei looks at Shitoku, with his arms crossed behind his head, "Shitoku, thoughts?"

Shitoku, "hmmm,if I have to....they were sloppy."

Sensei, "correct, Just throwing attacks and not working with each other. Do you realize if you had worked together you may have at least landed an attack?"

[She looks down at the laid out boys.]

Overhead a Voice looms

"attention Sensei and Gakusei, the first day of class is over. You have an hour to report to your respected dorms."

Jiyu, "Thanks for going easy on us Sensei."

Sensei Chosai [what are you holding back?]

Takaharu, "wait, no bones are broken. I'm sore but..."

She turns around with a big smile on her face, "well of course silly, I'm not Karada. I don't try to kill my kids on the first day."

Osata, "but those were some really heavy impacts, Sensei."

Sanjo, "yeah and why are you happy all of a sudden?"

Sensei walking towards them, "its a technique I use that heals serious damage as I make contact, but doesn't take away the pain."

As she walks past them, "Hey kids wanna go for ice cream at the First Hall Food court?"

All the students, "what?!"

Shitoku, "you know what, I could go for chocolate plum flavor."

Ushiku, "wait you guys are okay with her personality switching?!"

Osata, "relax, let's just go."

Chosai, "that's right,dont worry about the small stuff"

 Jiyu,"I want some dragon punch, Sensei"

Sensei walking in front of the boys, "Me too, that's my favorite"

Karada arrives.

Sensei, "Karada!"

Karada calmly, "Is Orange class coming with us?"

Sensei Chosai, "yep!"

she jumps up and down

As they all are walking together, 

Shitoku speaks, "is this even allowed?"

Sensei Karada, "it's already settled, let's go."

Sensei Chosai, "Today was easy BUT tomorrow no one will go easy on you. My personal goal is to kill at least one first year student."

Sanjo stops, "what?"

Chosai, " yeah my record is 3, Karada once killed 4. but one of us actually killed an entire first year, all 4 colors."

as they exit the building

Sensei Karada, "means you have no choice but to get stronger."

Ushiku, {damn right.}

#1. Welcome to Dragon's Claw

First view we see is Kishi and Kumo dodging Chad's attacks in a big splash page.

Kumo(face), "Kishi we haven't even made it to orientation yet!"

Kishi (face) ,"you say that as if it's my fault."

Kishi and Kumo land a few feet away from Chad.

Kumo,"well you did insult him!"

Kishi with his hands in his pockets, "I told the truth,counting on dead ancestors is pointless"

Kumo," thats not nice Kishi!"

Chad looking serious, " Gakusei, you should respect your superiors!"

Kishi," if I meet anyone superior,I will."

Kumo,"Kishi, we have to..."

Kishi getting in a stance pulling out his hands, "what make friends? stop being so soft Kumo."

He darts off towards Chad.

Chad, [he's coming right at me,he really thinks he can beat a third year,on his first day of school?!] 

Kishi getting closer,"Kumo,if you step in...."

He dodges an attack, places his hand on Chad's leg .

Splash page of the head kick, " I will kill you!"

Chad," oh that was pretty good,stung a little too."

Kumo, [Kishi, don't get so serious..]

Kishi positions his fingers

Kumo yelling, "don't you do it,Kishi!"

Chad, " you should have let your friend help you. Isnt that right ,Jacob?"

Kishi,[there is someone else?]

Everyone stops.

Kumo," that was pretty sneaky of you upperclassmen. "

Jacob was behind Kishi about to attack,Kumo has his foot at his throat to stop him.

Kishi, "is this the powerof a 3rd year student? What a disappointment. "

Jacob,"you brat."

Kishi, "Kumo, maybe we enrolled in the wrong school."

Kumo,"well, the Knights Academy" has an enrollment period right now too."

Jacob,"what the hell did you say?!"

Chad, "everybody better clear out of here unless you want to feel this Saino!"

Jacob, "Saino Chain,Sentairu: Shadow Heist!"

 The shadows of the boys rise up.

Jacob, " Sparring Shadow!"

Their shadows attack and flip both onto the ground. 

Jacob,"Chad,should we really show them?"

Chad, "noone is around that can stop us."

Kishi and Kumo on their knees getting up

Chad,"from breaking all their bones"

Jacob, " hey, man relax it isn't that serious. They're not even officially enrolled yet!"

Kumo, [ this guy seems too serious now]

Kishi, " ..."

Chad puts his hands together,  "Saino:Sentairu: deadly..."

An impact occurs knocking everyone back and raising a cloud of dust and dirt.

 

Lei,"maybe you took it too far,for a school yard brawl.."

They are both laying down.Standing on both of them,is Anya Lei with an umbrella.

Tsuma Pafekuto is standing with both Kishi and Kumo encased in leaves and petals.

Jake, " Sencho Lei and Taisa Pafekuto?!"

Kishi,[I can't move,are these really just flower pedals?!]

Kumo, [where did they come from?]

Chad from on the ground,"Sencho Lei, I didn't mean to..."

Lei," you didn't mean to perform Saino on these first day students?"

Jake,"Please, forgive us we were just having a little fun"

Taisa walking over to them, "you think

its fun to bully first years ? Is that the kind of students I have at my school?"

Sencho Lei,[oh she is getting upset,this might be good]

Tsuma, "maybe I should use my Saino on you two,would that be fair?"

Flowers start swirling around in the wind. 

Sencho hops off the boys and lands a distance away.

Lei," you should kill them Tsuma,that will make sure noone does it again"

The two look scared.

Kishi, [this power is amazing]

Kumo[is she really going to...?]

Pedals rush toward the boys and stops,just in front of them.

Tsuma," leave"

The boys dart off.

She releases Kumo and Kishi, they both are standing facing two powerful people they don't know.

Sencho Lei looks at them as she walks closer and points her umbrella at Kumo.

Kishi looks at her and steps in front of Kumo slightly. 

Tsuma, " you two,can you find your way to the Orientation?"

Kumo " yes, yes ma'am..."

Kishi," who the hell are you?"

Lei, "what?"

Tsuma holds up her hand, "it's fine, I am the Taisa of Dragon's Claw, Tsuma Pafekuto..."

Kumo," Kishi she is the head of the school!"

Tsuma, " it's time you two headed to your orientation. I hope to see alot of things from the first years."

Tsuma, "floral escort"

Pedals rise and engulf them,they soon disappear.

Sencho Lei, " well well,that was interesting.  They have potential,I can feel it especially in one of them."

Tsuma, "Master,I would appreciate if you didn't experiment on any of the students this year."

Lei, " Tsuma, I wouldn't dare...now that you've asked me not to. Well I hope its as bloody as that time,so keep me posted on who dies this year."

She walks away from Tsuma.

Tsuma, "I intend to prevent anything like THAT from happening again,master."

#21 Homework Part I, “the assignment “

Offense class is in session, Sensei Chosai is displaying her usual delicate touch with the students. 

Takaharu, "where'd she go?!"

Osata, "behind you Shitoku,look out!"

Shitoku, {what...?}

He turns around, but it's too late.

Sensei Chosai, "too slow Shitoku." She elbows him in the lower back.

Shitoku, "ah,damn it!"

Sensei Chosai, "you're so obvious Jiyu." She kicks an approaching Jiyu is sent flying.

Ushiku suddenly swings for her head as she ducks and tries to sweep his legs but he flips over her and then tries a side kick but she blocks it.

Sensei Chosai, "pretty good Ushiku."

Ushiku recovering and coming in with punches, "what do you expect, I'm the best one here!" 

Sanjo and Osata are sitting on the ground,soon joined by Shitoku and Jiyu.

Sanjo, there he goes again..."

Osata, "indeed, this is beginning to be a thing."

Jiyu, "wow Ushiku is getting better every day!"

Shitoku, "at running his mouth."

Sensei Chosai is dodging and blocking each attack. She is barely taller than Jiyu so she is noticeably shorter than Ushiku.

Ushiku, "admit it Sensei, I'm catching up to you! If I land one of these you'll be knocked out and embarrassed."

Sensei Chosai dodges and flips over him creating distance, "Ushiku, are you saying your stronger than me?"

Sanjo ,"he's not that stupid is he?"

Takaharu is now standing there with the rest of them, "come on buddy, don't do it..."

Ushiku stands still looking at Sensei Chosai, "damn right I am, hitting you would be just like that worthless punk Jiyu!!"

Sanjo, "yeah,he's that stupid."

Takaharu holding his head down, "oh no."

Jiyu, "Sensei doesn't like that."

Sensei Chosai," okay you little shit...." [suddenly she is directly inn front of him, startling Ushiku] "...hit me."

Ushiku,"what? Don't think i won't...I just.."

Sensei Chosai, "hit me,don't give me excuses!"

Ushiku looks at his class mates shaking their heads no the back at Sensei Chosai staring at him.

Ushiku rushing towards her, "here I come!"

he reaches back as he nears her 

Shitoku, "this won't be good."

Sensei smiles as Ushiku complete his punch.

The students are looking on quietly.

Jiyu, "wow!"

Sensei Chosai says, "Ushiku, open your eyes."

The scene is Chosai holding Ushiku's punch with the palm of her hand.

She then grabs him with her other hand "having confidence is great,but never..."

she punches him as he goes flying landing and sliding pass the siting students.

"...under estimate your opponent!"

Takaharu, "Ushiku! she knocked him out!"

Osata, "I don't think she is done.."

Sanjo, "she is coming this way."

Sensei Chosai, "you all are here to get better,be better. become skilled senshi, the greatest warriors this world has to offer. But I'll be damn if I have students in my class that look down on anyone!"

He walks passed them and picks Ushiku up with one hand.

Takaharu, "damn it...Sensei!"

She glances at Takaharu, "what!"

Jiyu, "I think that's enough Sensei,he'll do better okay?"

Sensei Chosai, {even you take up for him, he treats you worst of all}

Overhead Speaker, "Attention Bartros hall, Class is over for today."

Sensei Chosai reaches for something in her pocket and puts it in Ushiku's face.

Ushiku waking up,"what..?"

She drops him on the ground.

Sensei Chosai, "well that was fun guys, you're all doing great!"

Ushiku on the ground, {there she goes again, with her split personality}

Takaharu goes over and helps Ushiku up. The other students getting up walking over to Sensei Chosai

Osata,"that was intense"

Sanjo rubbing his head, "so glad that's over."

Shitoku putting his hands in his pockets, "well i'm going to my room."

Sensei stands in front of him, "wait I got a fun assignment for you guys..."

Shitoku, "fun? I don't like it already."

Sensei Chosai, "oh Shitoku always so...blah. This will be good for you too."

Jiyu, "so what is it Sensei?!"

Sensei Chosai, "okay, you'll be split into two teams for a special homework assignment."

Osata, "teams of three, Orange class challenge huh?"

Sensei Chosai, "Jiyu, Osata and Sanjo you are to face of against Ushiku, Takaharu and Shitoku."

Shitoku "damn it, such a hassle."

Ushiku, "oh this is going to be great. I can pound you losers and it's actually a part of my grade!"

Takaharu, "this isn't fair for you guys, the best students of the class vs the worst!"

Sensei Chosai, "The first team's goal is to survive and evade the second team."

Osata, "this is our homework for the weekend,Sensei?"

Sensei Chosai, "yes you have 24 hrs to complete this. i wouldn't make you go through this for the whole weekend silly."

Jiyu, "well I'm excited!"

Sanjo, "this will be interesting"

Takaharu steps up to Shitoku, "we're gonna give this our all, you better not slack off!"

Ushiku on the other side of Shitoku, "yeah, none of that carefree crap is gonna fly!"

Shitoku holding his hands up, "alright alright, I get it."

Sensei Chosai, "first team, get going!"

as they leave Ushiku, "yeah goo on you're getting a head start!"

Jiyu with Osata, and Sanjo, "we got this guys,we can't let them win!"

Sanjo, "well i guess that's the plan, right Osata?"

Osata running, "sure thing."

sometime later we see team Ushiku on the side of a building. Ushiku and Takaharu are squatting and peaking around a corner while Shitoku is back leaning against the wall.

Ushiku, "Osata is probably leading them, he likes to make thought out plans. Sanjo reads his opponents, fighting him one on one will be challenge."

Takaharu, "yeah, so once Osata is separated,Jiyu won't have any direction."

Shitoku, {well I guess these aren't just brawlers} "sounds like you guys got this,I'll just hang back. Let me know when you find them."

Ushiku, "don't even try it."

Takaharu, "why do think we stopped here? we're already following their trail."

Shitoku "what, you can sense their zai through the uniform?"

Takaharu, "i'm a tracker,I don't need to sense zai to do that."

Ushiku, "great let's go, I'll think of the plan before we get there!"

In another location, appears to be a wooded area. Sanjo is squatting Osata standing across from him, Jiyu is sitting on a rock dangling his feet."

Sanjo, "wow,"so you're sure about this plan?"

Osata,"yes, "they won't expect this plan."

Jiyu jumps downs, "great, let's go!"

Ushiku jumps in from a bush kicking Jiyu, "too late, we got you!"

Takaharu tackles Osata, "gotcha, we're taking you to Sensei in record time!"

Shitoku walks out from the bushes with a hand in his pocket and the other scratching his head, "you said get them, that was your big plan,get them?"

Ushiku standing in front of Jiyu[getting up], "shut up loser, it worked didn't it?"

Takaharu getting thrown by Osata and flipping to land, "just fight, Shitoku!"

Shitoku approaching Sanjo, "fine, operation get them it is."

Ushiku, "all we have to do id kick there ass and drag them back, how hard could it be?!"

Sanjo talking to Shitoku, "your team strategist i presume?"

Shitoku, "our fearless leader will bring us victory...or whatever. you ready to do this?"

Takaharu trading blows with Osata, "you're not too bad dork"

Osata evades and kicks Takaharu back.

Osata, "well you're not half good."

Takaharu, "what?"

Osata, "doesn't sound so great using different word to hat say the same thing does it?"

Over with Ushiku fighting Jiyu,Ushiku seems to have the upper hand.

Ushiku,"you're wasting my time Loser!"

he grabs Jiyu, "you're wasting everyone's time,being so weak!"

Jiyu looks at him, {he's right, I promised Uncle I wouldn't do this anymore} "you're right..."

Ushiku throwing him down, "I know it, so what are you going to do about it? Just quit!"

Jiyu standing up looking down, "...I'm..going to"

Ushiku looking at him, {finally go on... go on}

Jiyu, "stop pretending!"

Ushiku, {what?}

Jiyu is directly in front of him getting ready to strike.

Ushiku, {what just happened to him} 

Shitoku is blocking Sanjo as he is attacking him, then using one hand attacks.

Shitoku, "I'm not enjoying this, you know?"

Sanjo, "neither am I but I am flattered."

Shitoku jumps back, "what do you mean?"

Sanjo, "you are using minimal effort with you attacks, trying to just defend. It's because you know i analyze fighting styles during my fights and counter them. you try to come off as not interested in being at this school. That isn't the case,you don't trust anyone here."

Shitoku, "so Osata isn't the only smart one in our class."{he figured all that out}

Takaharu, "hold still Osata!"

Osata, "oh I don't think that will be wise" 

Takaharu, "well what about Jiyu, they've been missing for a while."

Sanjo looking that way, {he's right, I don't hear either of them}

Shitoku, {damn it Ushiku, did you go too far?}

Suddenly Ushiku comes flying from the bushes and landing on his back.

Jiyu jumps out, "hey guys, how you holding up?"

Ushiku is getting up. 

Takaharu, "Ushiku, what...?"

Ushiku, "screw this, that was lucky you damn loser!"

Ushiku runs towards Jiyu,and throws punches. Jiyu is blocking each one then hits him in then does a raising forward kick. It knocks him flying back near Sanjo and Shitoku.

Takaharu, "Jiyu ...is a bad ass?" {when did he get this strong?}

Shitoku looking down at Ushiku, "what's plan B?"

Ushiku trying to get up, "shut up."

Osata and Sanjo follow Jiyu who just jumped onto a tree branch.

Ushiku being helped by Takaharu, "don't run from em Jiyu, I was going easy on you!"

Then a loud rumble occurs and crashes are heard near them.

Shitoku,"what is that?"

suddenly trees fall near them and Sai Yugana emerges.

Takaharu, "isn't that...?"

Sai has his staff but isn't paying attention to anyone.

Ushiku, What the hell is he doing?!"

Jiyu from the tree branch, "be careful when big brother is like this everything is a target!"

Just then they leave,dashing through the trees. Sai jumps and crashes down sending all three in the air.

Jiyu and the others hear the other team screaming.

soon Shitoku,Ushiku and Takaharu are all crawling the outskirts of the forest. 

Ushiku, "i'm gonna break all his limbs and make him wish he never signed up for that"

#23 Homework Part III. "Shitoku Steps Up"

We see Team Shitoku on rooftop looking down on the campus,hands in his pockets, Ushiku and Takaharu crouched on the ledge. In the distance we see Team Jiyu,they are all back to a small wall. 

Ushiku, "so when do we...?"

Shitoku, "soon, just wait"

Takaharu, "I'm gone wipe that's smile off Osato's face."

Shitoku looks at Takaharu, "How can you tell he's smiling?"

Ushiku standing up with arms folded,"Oh you know,even through this damn mask. Like Jiyu,he smiles everyday, no matter what class we are in. How much he get's tossed around or beat down, he keeps on smiling."

scene change to Jiyu's mask, "you guys ready,it's time to go?"

Osato, "right let's go"

Back on the roof, with Shitoku and the rest.

Shitoku, "got movement..."

Ushiku coming to the edge, "about time..."

suddenly they see the three boys running in separate direction

Shitoku, "hmmm...okay then."

Takaharu, "what the hell?!"

Ushiku getting ready to jump off, "you're not getting away...!"

Shitoku puts his hand on his shoulder , "i have a plan"

Scene change, to a secluded stream Osato arrives soon.

Osato, "this isn't an assignment I would have predicted. (looks down at the stream) I suppose actual missions would be even more unpredictable"

Takaharu standing across the stream from him, "don't worry about that chump,after I get through with you you'll be unfit to be a Senshi."

Osato looks over at him slightly, "is that so?"

he darts off down running along the stream

Takaharu, "no you don't!"

he runs on his side of the stream after him.

Scene change to a long hallway ,walking down it is Sanjo.

Sanjo, "I'm definitely not liking this part of the plan, but no need to complain."

From down the hall behind him is Ushiku, "Don't worry,it'll work out..."

Sanjo, "Ushiku?!"

Ushiku, "not who you were expecting huh? Sorry, we figured out your little plan"

Sanjo, "clever."

Ushiku starting to run towards him,"Don't say that like you're surprised,I'm gonna be at the top of the 1st year students!"

scene change to Jiyu entering the training auditorium.

Soon after getting there he turns around silently to see Shitoku standing at the entrance.

Shitoku,"Hey did I catch you before you expected?"

Jiyu, "Hey Shitoku, yeah you're fast. Are you having fun?"

Shitoku beginning to walk towards Jiyu, "sorry to mess up Osato's plan, but it's kinda messed up to make you the sacrificial pawn."

Jiyu, "what do you mean?"

Shitoku stops and takes a breathe, "oh man I forget you're...anyway. I mean you were sent here to face Ushiku and let Osata and Sanjo face me and Takaharu. I guess he was counting on me not really caring..."

Jiyu suddenly moves back instantly, "I guess it can't be helped, you're pretty cool huh Shitoku?"

Shitoku, {just what I figured} "this is a good place he picked for you. You could use mabakata to evade Ushiku as long as you wanted"

Jiyu, " I guess so, I'm pretty quick right?"

Shitoku, "Far as you know your'e the only one that can do that move in the 1st year class..."

He uses it to get closer to Jiyu.

"You're not."

Jiyu, "wow."

Scene change, Osato is still running through a trail along the stream. Soon he  dashes through the trees.

Takaharu, "Get back here!"

He sees him jump through the trees and bushes, then follows.

scene change to Hideo Tochio,Black Class Homeroom teacher is in a hot spring.

Takaharu yelling jumping overhead, "you're mine!" {oh,no!}

Hideo Tochio, "is that so?"

 Osato from the shadows is watching as water splashes.

Scene change to the Ushiku and Sanjo dashing through the various rooms.

Sanjo, "so Ushiku,how mad are you gonna be when you lose?"

He kicks Ushiku back into a room.

Ushiku, "we won't lose!".

gets up and charges Sanjo who just went into a room.

Ushiku, "Come out you nerdy punk, I'm gonna pound you!"

He is searching the isles of bookcases. He sees movement around the corner.

"there you are,geek." He darts into that direction.

Sosuke Moriyama standing with a book in his hand, "are you aware how loud you are in this library,Ushiku?"

Ushiku takes a step back, "Sensei, Moriyama...?"

Scene change Jiyu is exchanging blows with Shitoku but getting knocked around. He is trying to evade but Shitoku can't seem to.

Shitoku after knocking him a few feet across the stadium floor.

Shitoku, "Senshi can't go easy on their opponents,n matter who they are. I know you're younger than us, but you're also a student just like us."

Jiyu stands up, "thanks Shitoku, I appreciate that. I told Ushiku early that you guys didn't deserve this..."

Shitoku stands near him, "deserve what?"

Jiyu suddenly is behind him,"me going easy."

He sweeps him then suddenly is on top bringing down an elbow. Then appears several feet away form Shitoku.

Shitoku,{what the hell, when did he get so fast?!}

He gets up and looks at Jiyu whom is looking right him, "you always surprise me kid"

Jiyu, "really, thanks Shitoku. Uncle told me not to hold back or else I'll never get stronger. I have to push mu limits,some of you guys have been taking it easy on me though. I don't want that....I want to be beat so I can stand up even taller than before!"

Shitoku, "great speech, you done now? Was that part of your plan,get Ushiku off guard maybe knock him around?"

Jiyu appears right in front of Shitoku,"You're wrong."

Shitoku steps back startled, {damn it.}

Jiyu,"Osata didn't plan for Ushiku to be here. I'm the team leader ..."

Shitoku, {what?}

Jiyu, "...and it didn't matter who came in here."

He swings at Shitoku but he blocks then tries a kick and blacks, then suddenly moves.

Shitoku,"really,why not?" He looks up to see him near the exit.{damn how can he move that far, he's beyond me with mabakata!}

Jiyu, "long as i'm the one gone by the time he gets here,see ya!"

He runs out the training arena.

Shitoku, {he...?}

Behind him, "hey, are you in here for my training session for extra credit?"

Shitoku turning around, "Sensei Karada....your training session?!"

scene change Sensei Chosai is at an outside table eating a bowl of ice cream with Sensei Shinjiro.

Sensei Chosai, "mmm, this is so good"

Sensei Shinjiro," are you still doing that thing you do before the exams?"

Sensei Chosai, "oh Shinjiro are you being naughty?"

she leans over towards him.

Sensei Shinjiro, "what? No i mean that homework thing..."

Sensei Chosai, "oh  yeah, actually it's almost time. I wonder who is gonna win?"

Sensei Shinjiro, "what class did you pick this year?"

Sensei with a spoon in her mouth, "hmmmmm, I forgot."

Sensei Shinjiro, "what, are you kidding?"

Sensei Chosai, "oh wait, Orange Class.... yeah that's it. gee I hope some one dies, or maybe lose a limb or something."

Sensei Shinjiro shaking his head, "oh boy."

Jiyu pops up, "Uncle and Sensei Chosai!"

Sensei Chosai, "Uncle?[looking at Shinjiro] We'll talk about that later. So you made it?"

Sanjo and Osato run up. 

Sensei Shinjiro, "you guys were a team huh? So, did Jiyu's plan go well?"

Osato, "How did you know he was the team leader, Sensei?"

Sensei Shinjiro, "well you two remind me of me and Sosuke, we are a great team. But we don't really lead others unless there is no other option. You had the kid so..."

Sensei Chosai, "hey where are the other ones, did you kill one of the them? that would be so cool, was it the loud one that hates you Jiyu?"

"Jiyu, "sensei...?"

Suddenly Sensei Hideo drags Takaharu over and tosses him on the table. 

Sensei Hideo,"Hey,is this your fault Chosai? He was mumbling something about Homework."

Shitoku lands unconscious beside the table.

Sensei Karada walks up, "needs a lot more work"

Finally Sensei Moriyama appears with Ushiku beaten and knocked out.

Sensei Moriyama, "he was very loud in the library."

Sensei Chosai stands up excited, "wow, you got the faculty involved."

She jumps over to Jiyu picks him up and hugs him, "you're a little genius kid! You're my new favorite!"

Jiyu, "uhm, thanks Sensei Chosai."

Sensei Karada, "Don't bother my sessions again...unless you're ready to go as all out as I do."

He leaves.

Hideo Sensei, looks at the group of students, "If I see you, any of you on my personal time again. I will kill you Orange Class"

 She uses mabakata.

Sensei Moriyama, "you three are the reason my surprise party was ruined earlier yesterday evening?"

He walks up to the three.

Sensei Shinjiro, "surprise party...uh,oh"

Sensei Moriyama pats Jiyu's head, "thank you, I detest parties."

Jiyu, "your'e not mad Unc..Sensei?"

Sensei Moriyama, "not at all, good luck with your classes."

Sanjo,"I thought we were done."

Osato, "i as well..."

Sensei Chosai, "take your knocked out classmates back to the dorms, good job guys"

They gather them and take them away to the dorms.

Sensei Chosai, "I suppose you and Sosuke are dealing with that?"

Sensei Shinjiro, "yeah, it's handled."

Sensei, Chosai, "good, I like that kid. I could feel his potential."

Sensei Shinjiro, "That entire class is full of surprises this year."

Sensei Chosai, "yeah but that kid is going to be more dangerous than any student that walked these halls in a long time"

after a moment of silence

She grabs his arm and hugs it, "my ice cream melted, let's get some more!"

Sensei Shinjiro, "you were almost finished! Fine, let's go...{you're pretty dangerous yourself Chosai}"

#30 ERRANDS Part II

We see a big open shopping area, people are walking around.

Walking in are Obihiro and Takizawa, with others.

Takizawa, " there it is,Obihiro!"

Obihiro looking, {what?} "That looks like a weapons vendor."

Takizawa walking,"I'm sure it'll be fine"

They walk up to a Sales person, " Oh hello,students? How may I help you?"

Takizawa, " hey, I'm here to pick up something for..."

Shiro Nokemono, "...Shinjiro Yokosuka"

He puts his arms around both boys and continues. 

"..You kids are his students huh?"

Obihiro,  "no,I am not."

Takizawa,"I am, aren't you that guy from earlier?"

Nokemono, "huh? Oh that, that was just a misunderstanding. "

The boys turn around looking at him.

Obihiro, " you snuck into this village,are you following us?"

He shows them a scroll, " I took this from you guys earlier,sorry old habit."

Takizawa snatches it back, " hey, that's mine mister!"

Obihiro, " we don't have time for games"

Nokemono,"relax kid I was just bored, I'm in between missions here."

Takizawa hands the scroll to the vendor.

Vendor," thank you,I'll be right back."

Takizawa speaking as the man has turned around to leave " do you wait a long time between missions?"

Nokemono " well yeah, because.... I only do  unsponsered missions."

Obihiro,"you mean missions the council deem as unlawful?"

Nokemono turns around, " you must be top of your class,whats your name?"

Takizawa answers for him, " he's Obihiro and Takizawa. Unlawful? So you're a criminal?"

 A distance away a Blade is watching them.

Blade,{who is this guy?}

Transparent copy of Dream,{he is a target but not here,obviously}

Shiro," My name is Shiro, I'm a Yohei. I just work independently."

We see the vendor walking back over with a tied bag with a script label on it.

He hands it to Takizawa, " here you go,tell your Sensei thank you for his patronage."

Takizawa, "i will Senpai,thank you!"

He puts it over his shoulder and walks over to Obihiro and Shiro.

Obihiro, "great let's go.."

Takizawa, " so what kind of missions does a Yohei take?"

Obihiro,{oh great he's curious}

Shiro Nokemono, "well my last mission was a covert search and recover of an ancient item. Said to be used during the Dark End War." 

Takizawa" wow,what is the Dark End War? That sounds amazing!"

Obihiro, " it's not part of the curriculum but I have heard Sensei speak with Osata from Orange class about it."

Shiro, "That bag looks important you two must be best,to be trusted with this task."

Takizawa, " I guess you could say that"

Obihiro begins to walk pulling Takizawa " come on, we don't have all day."

Shiro walks with them.

Obihiro, "I assure you we don't need you to tag along?"

Shiro, " hey,I don't mind kid."

Takazawa, " don't be mean Obihiro Shiro Sensei may have cool stories to tell."

Shiro, " oh I got plenty of stories."

As they walk away the Blade that was watching leaves.

Shiro{what was that about,I can't tell what they wanted} " you fellas ever seen a dragon up close?"

Elsewhere...

A man in a hooded cloak(Dui), is walking by a fruit stand.  Suddenly a coin appears in the vendor's hand.

Vendor {hmm?!}

He notices some fruit missing as he scratches his head.

The man in the hood has a bag of fruit now.

He walks while eating a piece of fruit.

Nearby Blade is holding a scroll,while a Swift is standing nearby.

Blade, "dreamer says the Blade has found the target, good."

Swift, " yes,their is a chance the target may have noticed him."

Blade, " well Blades aren't as good as you Swifts or a Shadow. But still, an average Senshi shouldn't be able to notice us."

Suddenly the Swift looks away.

Blade, "what...[he looks and sees the man in the hood going down an alley]..is that?"

Swift is gone.

In the Alley

Dui, " what do you want Swift?"

The Swift is behind him and says nothing.

He puts his fruit back in the bag and holds the bag out.

The Swifts eyes stare in anger.

Suddenly from behind the Swift, " is this personal or business?"

Swift, {speed of a Shadow?!} "..."

Dui, " I know, forbidden to talk to your target, because the dead only talk to the dead.. or something like that."

The Blade walks out in front of them. The Swift looks at the Blade then turns back to see Dui is gone.

Dui in front of the Blade holding a scroll. 

The scroll burns into ashes. 

Blade, " Swift  this guy is not our target, even though he deserves everything coming to him."

Dui, " I see she is holding a grudge still, that's  unfortunate. Well, now either we fight now and risk your mission or you leave now and try to accomplish it."

They both are just staring at him.

He continues," I don't know why you're here so that would probably be your best option...otherwise you would die right here."

They say nothing and disappear. 

He continues walking with his bag of fruit.

Over in a mother part of the shopping area. Obihiro and Takizawa are standing outside a shop.

Obihiro, " why did I let you convince me to follow him here."

Takizawa, "hey look, the shop over there, isn't that where you have to go?"

Obhiro, " fine..."

Suddenly Shiro comes flying out of a the store and lands in the street.

A woman comes out " don't show yourself around here again... Shiro Nokemono"

Takizawa and Obihiro  "what did she say?!"

#25 Loyalty Part I, "Assignment"

 In the Orange home room class is Sensei Yugana leaning back in his chair. Standing across his desk are Shitoku and Jiyu casual waiting.

Jiyu, “what’s up Sensei, why did you call us after all our classes?”

Shitoku, “we in trouble or something?”

Yugana,”most eager and most lazy student,I have a task.You don’t mind do you, won’t take long?”

Shitoku rubs his head,”after insulting us,you ask like we have a choice?”

Jiyu, “yeah, we’re up for it Sensei! Is it a top secret mission?!”

Shitoku looking at an excited Jiyu, “hey don’t answer for me,you know it’s gonna be a hassle.”

Jiyu, “well if don’t have a choice, might as well give it our all!”

Shitoku, “uhhh, whatever”

Yugana stands up, “well now that is settled,I’ll give you the details.”

Shitoku, {he seems serious now, oh man}

Jiyu, “what is it Sensei?”

Scene change to the three walking a corridor in Bartros Hall.

The students are walking slightly behind Sensei Yugana.

Jiyu, “That’s it, you just want us to find a student?”

Yugana, “For now, yes.”

Shitoku speaking up, “Sensei...”

Yugan, “yes Shitoku.”

Shitoku, “we aren’t your best students, why pick us for this?”

Jiyu,”Osata,Sanjo or Ushiku could...”

Yugana stops walking and turns around, “you two are ideal for this specific situation."

Soon they are in front of the 1st year dorms.

Yugana speaks sternly, “find Kumo of Green class and bring him to the designated location.”

He blink steps out of sight.

Shitoku rubbing his head looking in that direction, “he is definitely serious, wonder what Kumo did?”

Jiyu, “Kumo is cool,I’m sure it’s not like that. Come on let’s go!”

He runs towards the Dorm doors.

Shitoku starts after him, {hope you’re right. Now we gotta deal with those Green Class guys}

Scene changes to show somewhere on school grounds are Sensei Sasuke and Sensei Shinjiro.

Sosuke, “are you sure about this Shinjiro?”

Shinjiro, “Yes,we may have a situation to deal with soon.”

Sosuke, “for someone that doesn’t enjoy trouble you seem to find it easily.”

Shinjiro with his arms behind his head, “hey give me a break, my intel comes in handy right?”

Sosuke, “yes, but sometimes knowing can be a double edged sword. How much did you tell Sensei?”

Shinjiro folding his arms, “everything, it’s not like he couldn’t make tell him. One way or the other, he hates surprises after all.”

Sosuke turns to leave slowly, “Well our superior has been notified, now we just leave it to him to decide from here.”

He blink steps away.

Shinjiro, “true {but to bring the students into this mess}"

Scene change

Back at the dorms. 

Takizawa and Sakura are standing with arms folded, in front of Jiyu.

Sakura, “Jiyu from Orange class, you know you aren’t welcome here.”

Takizawa, “only way you’re getting in here is through us.”

Shitoku standing behind Jiyu, “come on,we don’t have time for this.”

Jiyu, “yeah this is an important mission.”

Sakura, “whatever...”

Inuyama walks up, “You both know the rules. Only those invited can go on another classes floor.”

Sakura, “pretending you don’t know the rules, won’t get you passed us.”

Shitoku, “we’re just looking for Kumo, that’s all.”

Kiryu from a distance, “Shitoku from a Orange class, watch yourself.”

Jiyu, “wonder if he’s still mad?”

Shitoku, {mad?}

Kiryu, “don’t be disrespectful, just because you have a purpose. As usual of your class,you misunderstand.”

Shitoku walks directly up to Kiryu. Sakura and Inuyama take notice, but Kiryu waves them off.

Shitoku, {this is gonna be a hassle, I can feel it}

Kiryu, “we aren't concerned with you, it’s him.

He points at Jiyu.

Shitoku looks at Jiyu, “why?”

Inuyama, “he doesnt belong here, he is beneath all of us. We don’t see any reason to form any personal bond with him.”

Jiyu standing in front of Sakura and Takizawa still, “It’s okay Shitoku,if they think I’m weak,we have mission to finish so...”

Shitoku kicking Kiryu sending him back, “no it isn’t that,it's that I dont like Bullies...”

Sakura heads towards Shitoku, ”Stupid Orange class, we were being nice!”

Shitoku blocking her punch then leaning away from her kick, “then you would have told us where Kumo is.”

Sakura {he is blocking with little effort, is there more to this guy?}

Inuyama attacks Shitoku from the side, {I’m stepping into his attack,can’t avoid it.}

Suddenly Jiyu, “Inuyama, don’t touch my teammate!”

Takizawa “hey how’d you get passed me?!”

Shitoku, {he could have gitten pass them the whole time, this kid}

Jiyu facing Inuyama as she stands up, “if you think I’m weak, I’ll be glad to prove you wrong! No one is gonna stop us from completing our mission!”

Shitoku kicking Sakura, “still too weak Kiryu?” {Being a Senshi isn’t a game for him}

Kiryu standing with the others,  “I’m not impressed, you're just sneaky.”

Jiyu, “oh you want to get serious? Maybe I should do what Sensei said and get serious right now.”

Karada speaks from out of sight, “no need for that.”

Everyone looks to see Karada standing, “stand down you two,this is the dormitory. You kids should be relaxing.”

Jiyu, “Sensei,?!”

Shitoku, {I don’t wanna take on Sensei Karada,again}

Karada, “Kumo is in the lounge.”

As they pass by, Jiyu is waving while walking with Shitoku, “thanks Sensei, see you later.”

Sakura,”you saved those Orange class losers from a beat down,Sensei.”

Karada looks down at the students, “you need to learn to identify the strength of your opponents, you’ll live longer.”

He turns and walks away.

Students looked confused, Kiryu, “yes Sensei.”

Karada from a distance, “now clean this mess up.”

Takizawa, ”what did he mean by that Sakura.”

Sakura, “sounds like...”

Kiryu, “...he believes those two are stronger than the four of us.”

Sakura, “Shitoku is more skilled than he let’s on but...”

Kiryu, “Jiyu's strength we can’t see...not yet.”

#26 Loyalty Part II, "Finding Kumo"

 Jiyu and Shitoku are walking in an area with random Citizen students sitting at tables.

Jiyu, “I’m hungry...”

Shitoku, “do you wanna stop and eat? Then you can tell Sensei why we lost Kumo.?”

Jiyu looking down, “no, I don’t wanna let him down. Hey there he is!”

Jiyu is pointing.

“There’s Kumo...”

He is just beyond the outside lounge, laying in the grass.

When they walk up they see someone with him.

Jiyu, “whiskers?”

He sees Jiyu and stands up stretching.

Kumo notices them,”hey Jiyu, and you're Shitoku right? ”

Whiskers jumps on Jiyu’s shoulder, “out making friends huh, you’ve been busy lately.”

He looks at Kumo, “you’re in coming with us to see Senswi Yugana Kumo.”

Kumo sits up, “what,why? The cat,but I didn’t take him he found me.”

Shitoku, “relax, he didn’t say you were in trouble.”

Kumo stands up and puts on his jacket, “Sensei Yugana, what does the Orange class Sensei want with me?”

Shitoku, “it was already a hassle dealing with your Green team mates, you gonna come quietly?”

Kumo pets Whiskers, “come quietly....[he looks at Shitoku] you don’t know me at all do you?”

Shitoku, “no, I don’t”

Kumo's eyes, " well let's fix that..."

Shitoku, (is he?)

He puts his fist out, “well I’m Kumo of Green class,I don’t attack my friends. Right Jiyu?”

Shitoku, (he's just as mush trouble as Jiyu)

Jiyu bumps fists, “right”

They both turn their heads to Shitoku.

Shitoku, “oh brother...”

He bumps fists with them.

Few moments later, the boys are walking across an empty part of the campus.

Shitoku, “he should be just up ahead.”

Jiyu, “wonder why we have to come out here?”

Kumo, “well, this is kinda strange.”

Voice, “this is the end...”

Sensei Yugana is standing a few feet in front of them, he is wearing Something different.

Shitoku, {he is serious} “here he is Sensei.”

Jiyu, “what,what are you wearing Sensei?”

Yugana, “thank you Shitoku,it is called SBD, Senshi Battle Dress. It’s what Senshi wear when performing their duties.”

Kumo, “oh man...”

Jiyu looks at Kumo then at Yugana, “how much trouble is Kumo in?”

Yugana walks closer to them, “he is not in trouble, I need assistance from all of you.”

He begins walking and they follow him.

He begins to talk, “there is a suspected traitor in Dragon’s Claw, a first year student. They have been exiting school grounds secretly doing things unknown.”

Shitoku and the others look at each other but are quiet.

“you three akso have been leaving campus,I want yiu to take me al ok mg this time.”

Shitoku," i havent betrayed Dragons Claw, i just get tired of being locked behind walls Sensei."

Yugana," I will be the judge of your actions tonight. Although  one of you are the prime suspect"

Scene change...

They arrive at a door.

Kumo, “this is the south wall door, goes to the Senshi inner village”

Shitoku, “ what do you need us for? Couldn’t you just get the Truancy Squad?”

Jiyu, “the what? What’s the truancy squad?”

Kumo pats Jiyu’s head, “it’s a team of highly skilled 5th and 6th years that track and retrieve students that leave the school without permission. Like they runaway or something.”

Yugana, “if I were to use them then the Taisa of the school would have to be involved, if she is involved then you three may also become targets.”

Shitoku, “okay fine, so what do you want us to do?”

Yugana, “You three have secrets you keep from your peers. which is a good skill for a Senshi to have.”

Yugana pushes the door open and they follow him.

"No matter what happens tonight you will add this to your secrets..."

There are people walking not paying them attention to them in the village.

Yugana, "relax, you’re with me. No need to worry,they will just assume we have permission.”

Jiyu, “well, don’t we have permission?”

He says nothing.

Kumo, “where are we going Sensei Yugana?”

Yugana, “well that is up to you. We’re going to follow the paths you take when you sneak out.”

Shitoku, “ok then I guess I’ll go first and get it over with, follow me...and try to keep up Kumo.”

Kumo,”what? I won’t be left behind?!”

After that we see them going through back allies.

Jiyu, “What are you going to do when you find them Sensei?”

Shitoku says nothing keeps leading them.

Kumo, “yeah, I didn’t think about that.”

Yugana, “I am a member of the Governing Council of Senshi in this country.I’m sworn to uphold the laws even if it's a student that breaks them.”

Shitoku glances back, {did he say the Governing Council, is he that strong?}

Jiyu, “what’s the governing council?”

Kumo, “those are the Buntai of Shicho Fujiyama, the strongest in the country!”

Yugana, “that is correct, young Jiyu, needs to study his Senshi Politics more.”

They continue to dart through the allies and across streets.

Yugana continues, “Though Senshi gather secrets,steal, overthrow rulers and kill. Do not let that confuse you, we have honor system. Even students are held to it.”

They arrive under A large bridge.

“At worst I will kill them,if they indeed betrayed Senshi system. Our loyalty is absolute if not, what is the point?”

Shitoku, “here we are Sensei this is where I come from time to time.”

A few people are scattered around in small groups.

Yugana,"what is your reason for coming here?”

We see two people fighting as others are gathered around.

Yugana, “I see...”

Jiyu, “are you a fighter here Shitoku, that’s so cool!”

He is looking around excited.

Someone is walking up to them.

Man, “hey you back already kid?”

Shitoku, “Hey Herman, nah just passing through that’s all.”

He walks up looking down at Shitoku slightly, “just passing through huh?”

Kumo, “who is this guy Shitoku?”

Shitoku, “this is Herman,well that’s what he says no one uses actual names here. Except me anyway he is from outside of Queen City. Comes here to blow off steam I guess after his missions.”

Herman, “blow of steam? I come here to crush fighters in this overrated Senshi village.”

Yugana, “well then I believe we’ll be going now students, we don’t have much time.”

Herman puts his hand on Shitoku’s shoulder, “let’s settle this right now.”

Shitoku, {I can’t deal with this right now} “I have to go with my Sensei some other time.”

Herman swings his fist at Shitoku, “no, right now!”

Yugana glances, when Jiyu kicks him in the face from the side.

Herman takes a few steps back, “cheap shot brat.”

Jiyu, “he said no.”

Kumo whispers to Shitoku, “hey, what's with this guy,does he want are rematch or something?”

Shitoku, “not exactly, we both have a perfect record, but have never fought each other.

Jiyu looks around at the other guys, “oh I get it, these others lost to you and Shitoku,right?”

Herman, “yeah so what of it?”

Jiyu, “These guys they all look like fighters, but none of the, were ever Senshi. You know that isn’t fair for you to fight them.”

Herman, “what the hell is fair, who are you to lecture me!”

He runs towards Jiyu but Jiyu dodges and is a few feet behind him.

Jiyu, “Shitoku is still  student so it’s okay for him.”

Shitoku, “let’s go Jiyu.”

Herman, “go on little boy....before”

Suddenly Yugana is in his face, “before what Sajento Kamichi?”

Jiyu, “whoa..”{I didn’t see him move!}

Kumo,{whoa that was fast}
