They are very traditional and adhere to their ancient customs and rights within the bounds of the Clan properties.
As such females can only hold a representative or ornamental position of authority. They cannot be next in line for leadership at all, it would go to the next oldest relation.
The females are usually placed in the sub class of the Clan to be traded or married into another Clan. Usually a fellow member of their Shibu Zoku. In the case of Tsuma she was renamed Pafekuto and allowed to become a non affiliated Senshi. Only because her skills and potential were too great to limit her to only be a wife.
At first she were to learn all she could then return to the Clan and join the Senso Tsuma Branch. Another part of Sentoki Clan,except they work directly for the Shibu Zoku leaders.
After their duties as warriors have been fulfilled, leaders can pick them to marry into their clan.
Sentoki clan is known for trying to impose their ideals on others they see as weaker.
The Sentoki Clan in terms of strength is thanks to their numbers and shrud tactics off the battle field.
They negotiated a seat at the head of their Shibu Zoku, a land donation form bordering clans within and outside of the Shibu Zoku.
Currently they have embassies stationed all over the continent. Under the guise of establishing positive relations to keep their Shibu Zoku at the top of trade.
Oone ever really knows what they are truly up to,not even their partners. For example the Ckan embassies in Federal states have a "shadow" seat in the state governments.
