Role of the Senshi

Senshi Duties(overall)

 Today the Senshi are a type of mercenary.

They are one of the oldest standing warrior cultures. They are the most diverse in members due to not being tied to any specific clan.

 In the far past they had huge city sized villages of Senshi and Akuto clans living together. Before the federation established ruling governments.

  Now they exist seperately from the federation of each country. They no longer have seperately ruled cities.

  They have villlage sized areas of the free cities that are the gateway to Senshi training schools. Other than that they live scattered all over the countryside. 

Income-

 Senshi gain income by taking missions from various indivuduals up to state leaders. Senshi do not have an over all moral code,when it comes to the types of missions they take. 

 The different sections and classes handle different mission types in place of that.

     *A Senshi on a tactical mission will not assassinate just because the client says so.

Mission Types-

  Tactical- 

 Strictly fighting, be it aiding a village or giving the client the upperhand in a battle.

  Recon/Spy-

   Simply monitoring a subject undetected. No contact with target,while secretly gaining any intel for the client.

  Protection/Escort-

   Guarding or accompanying a person,place or thing. This is the most flexible task, it could include fighting,killing even recon. Assassination is still off the table.

  Retrieve/Acquire-

   Usually finding someone and bringing them to a client. Sometimes, forcefully bringing an unwilling target to a client.Although they can request state level aide.

Cost

 The fees for hiring a single Senshi determined by certain factors.

Distance travelled,physical risk, reputation risk,location, amount of targets or oppostion.

Those factors rank the mission.

Ranks-

The names refer to the lowest rank capable of completing the task.

  Sajento- can be handled by one Senshi or a Senshi training several Gakusei(students).

  Sencho- can be handled by Senshi of said rank or up to several Sajento. Not recomemded for training students. But exceptions can be made. No ranks lower are allowed to attempt.

  Reda Sencho- can be handled by Senshi of said rank or several Sencho or maybe a Buntai lead by a Sajento. No ranks lower are allowed to attempt.

  Atama- can be handled by Senshi of said rank or a skilled Buntai led by a Reda Sencho No individuals ranked lower are allowed to attempt.

*Shicho-  Very rare currently, if this does occur it very seldom is handled by an actual Shicho. More or less this just refers to the seriousness and danger level the of the mission.

 An Atama led buntai of Reda Sencho maybe be able to hande it. Depending on the Senshi, a buntai of Sencho may be able at least hold out. No individuals ranked lower are allowed to attempt.
